1. Sign In to Kouchd
Visit kouchd.com and sign in using your email address or Google account. Authentication is secured by Clerk.2. If You Are a Host
- Complete the onboarding wizard to define your stay:
- Dates: Start date and target departure date.
- Rate & Cadence: Daily or weekly rate (e.g. $200 / week).
- Incentives: Early payment discount (e.g. 10% off if paid 2 days early) and late fees.
- House Rules: Kitchen guidelines, quiet hours, and visitor policies.
- Share your private invitation link or 6-character household code with your guest.
3. If You Are a Guest
- Click the invitation link sent by your host, or enter the 6-character household code on your dashboard.
- Review the proposed rates, schedule, and house rules.
- Click Accept & Co-sign to activate the stay.
4. Stay in Sync
Once active:- Check the Home tab for upcoming dues and announcements.
- Head to Contribute to log payments, grocery receipts, or household supplies.
- Check Chores to see who is taking out the bins or wiping down the kitchen.
