# Plus subscription refunds

> Guidelines and procedures for Kouchd Plus software subscription refunds, and how they differ from household stay contributions.

We want you to be completely satisfied with Kouchd. This guide outlines our refund policy for the Kouchd Plus software subscription.

> **Household stay contributions are outside Kouchd:** Kouchd does not process, hold, collect, or transfer money between hosts and guests. The Ledger is a record of agreed contributions only. Kouchd support cannot reverse, escrow, or refund any money exchanged directly between household members.

## Subscription refund eligibility

* **Monthly subscriptions:** If you were charged for a monthly Plus subscription and wish to request a refund, please contact us within **14 days** of the charge date.
* **Annual subscriptions:** If you purchased or renewed an annual Plus subscription, you may request a full refund within **14 days** of the initial charge or renewal date.
* **Accidental renewals:** If your subscription renewed automatically and you intended to cancel, reach out within 14 days of the renewal charge.

## How to request a refund

To request a refund for your Kouchd Plus software subscription:

1. Submit a request through the [Kouchd contact form](https://kouchd.com/contact).
2. Select **Plans & Billing** as the topic.
3. Provide your account email address and the date of the charge.

Our team reviews requests and replies during support hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time). Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method, typically appearing in your account within 3 to 5 business days depending on your financial institution.
