# Plans and your Plus subscription

> Understand Kouchd Free and Plus tiers, what features are included, how website subscription billing works, and how to cancel anytime.

Kouchd provides shared household coordination with clear, transparent pricing. Invited guests always join and use Kouchd completely free. Hosts choose between Free and Plus depending on their household needs.

> **Important distinction:** Kouchd Plus is a software subscription for host coordination tools. Kouchd **never** handles, collects, or transfers household stay contributions. Money exchanged between hosts and guests is arranged directly outside the app and has no connection to your Kouchd software subscription.

## Free tier vs. Plus plan

## Managing your subscription

Hosts can manage or upgrade their subscription at any time:

1. Open Kouchd on the web ([app.kouchd.com](https://app.kouchd.com)).
2. Tap your initials or profile avatar in the navigation bar to open **Settings**.
3. Select **Subscription & Billing**.
4. View your current plan, renewal date, and billing history.

## How to cancel your subscription

You can cancel your Kouchd Plus subscription at any time without penalties:

1. Go to **Settings > Subscription & Billing**.
2. Click **Cancel subscription**.
3. Confirm your cancellation.

When you cancel, your Plus features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that period ends, your account transitions to the Free tier. Your existing stay history and recorded contributions are preserved.
